Small price increase due to USPS rates going up again this year. We will also be shipping all pads from this week when I get back to the shop Friday.
For any who have been wondering what these "jacking pucks" are. All Corvettes from C5s(1997) up have holes in the frame for pucks like these. They serve to keep the frame from being scraped and dented by a floor jack and they protect the rocker panels from the jacks and lifts. The rocker panels on Corvettes are a fragile composite material similar to fiberglass and they are glued on from the factory.
If they are broken from a jack or lift then it is a pretty major ordeal to repair them depending on the extent of the damage.
These are something every C5, C6, or C7 driver on the planet should keep in their car at all times. You never know when you may break down and have to go to a dealership/repair shop and they won't have a set to use. Even the shop Stingray that was serviced at only 2 dealerships twice in its life has frame paint damage from the dealer lift.
Not a huge deal on aluminum, but steel rusts and the paint functions as a protectant. So overall these are a pretty good investment at $30 to protect your $60-130k vehicle.
Unlike similar aluminum pucks on the market, these have a larger footprint, will not put hard metal on metal contact damaging your frame and paint, and they are adjustable so they will work on all your Corvettes regardless of frame thickness.
These come fully assembled in their own storage box, which will keep them safe and more importantly TOGETHER!
